Diving into the subconscious.

About Me

Art has never been optional for me. Without a way to express myself in paints, words, movement, I would have surly gone crazy or been on my way to the grave by now. Not surprisingly, I discovered that my body is closely connected to my feelings and if I do not honor my feelings and desires, big and small, I will be hurting myself in a physical way. Once I understood this which took some time and suffering, life became simple. Things that before seemed selfish and presented themselves as choices became imperatives, self preservation, honest and direct and no one out there in the world really seemed hurt rather people seemed relieved. It was just another glass wall, that I needed to shatter.

Art Life

After exploring representational art in it’s many forms, I was attracted to abstract art as a way to delve into my subconscious and explore without any restrictions or preconceived ideas.
